How our chemical wash works, step by step

We run the 9-point pre-check first to confirm a chemical wash is what your unit needs — not a simpler service or a gas issue.
Power to the unit is isolated and the fan coil cover is removed.
Coil-safe chemical solution is applied to the evaporator coil and left to dissolve mould, biofilm and grime.
Every component is pressure-rinsed thoroughly to flush out the loosened buildup.
The drainage tray and pipe are cleaned, treated and vacuumed so water flows freely again.
An anti-bacterial post-treatment is applied to slow regrowth.
We reassemble, run the unit, and confirm cooling has returned to normal before we leave.

How often should you chemical wash in Singapore?

Because Singapore averages around 84% humidity all year, coils foul faster here than in cooler, drier climates. For a typical home, plan on a chemical wash every 6 to 12 months, on top of routine 3-monthly general servicing.
